Country overall: Medium Low Risk
Caprivi Strip & Kavango region: Medium High Risk

Namibia is sparsely populated but there are moderate crime levels in urban areas and common sense precautions should be taken. The threat from terrorism is low but as with all countries, visitors should be prepared for the unexpected. Some governments advise visitors to Namibia to exercise caution.

Sossusvlei is the most impressive desert oasis location I've ever experienced. Huge dunes, amazing sunrise. There are some guards at the camp too.
