Some governments advise visitors to exercise caution in Croatia. Landmines are present in eastern Slavonia (Vukovar and Osijek), the counties of Brodsko-Posavska, Karlovac, Lika-Senj, Sisak Moslavna, Zadar, parts of the Plitvice Lakes National Park, the border area with Serbia and Montenegro, and near Konavle, south of Dubrovnic. Some mined areas are reported to be unmarked.
