Multiple governments advise their nationals to exercise caution in Georgia and warn visitors not to travel to Abkhazia, South Ossetia, the Svaneti region, the Pankisi Gorge, Zugdidi and Tsalenjikha districts of the Samegrelo region and the Georgian Military Highway north of Gudauri. They also stress the need to avoid military occupied locations, particularly the Gori area.
